Meydan Free Zone is an economic freezone labeled as a catalyst for growth in the industry, transforming the landscape for business setup in Dubai drastically. Being the first and only digital free zone in the UAE, MFZ has achieved profound success due to their offerings being highly customer-centric and differentiated from all other competitors.
Despite their ability to nurture and attract a large clientele, Meydan Free Zone sought out to overcome one challenge: generating qualified leads and solidifying the sales pipeline. They needed to enhance lead generation by communicating their value propositions more boldly.

How Meydan Free Zone is laying the foundation for growth
Meydan Free Zone boasts over 15,000 new companies, only in Q1 of 2024, indicating its robust performance in the industry. Whilst MFZ employed a strong tendency for meaningful growth, there was a need to streamline the customer journey, deliver USPs like they were punchlines and provide clarity on the investments required to set up a flourishing business in Dubai.
Having dry or lost leads is something that every business fears, but through delivering exceptional value, we aimed to turn Meydan Free Zone into a lead generation magnet — drawing in a strong torrent of high-caliber prospects periodically.
Strategy
Identifying, engaging, and compelling MFZ’s target audience
Our first move was to position Meydan Free Zone as the go-to entity for entrepreneurs, business decision-makers, and executives (28-60 years old) that are inquisitive about business setup costs and the comprehensive suite of services Meydan has to offer. We understood that targeted informing would be key to salvaging lead generation efforts, and that’s why we engineered a drip email campaign to cut through the clutter and convert.
We didn’t just want to bombard random mailboxes, so we dissected the target audience, located pain points, deciphered consumer psychology and the decision-making process to craft a multi-faceted drip email campaign. Our intent was to persuade, so our drip email chain was designed to deliver value upfront.
From highlighting the benefits of Meydan E-Commerce to unraveling the simplicity of the Business Costs Calculator, we composed an array of emails designed to captivate, connect, and persuade.
One of the emails included in our campaign served as a perfect illustration of lead transformation. Titled “From Start-up to Success: Calculate Your Business Costs in Dubai with Ease”, the email was compelling from the get-go, highlighting relevant USPs and driving immense traffic to the business setup cost calculator altogether. We didn’t just inform; we created authority with Meydan Free Zone’s contrasting features.

Throughout the drip email campaign, we sent a total of 8461 emails approximately and employed dynamic content in each. We didn’t just deploy a chain of emails, we orchestrated them to highlight Meydan Free Zone’s unmatched incentives and infrastructure.

Data-Driven Efficiency: We were intent on continuously monitoring performance metrics such as the click-through rates, open rates, bounce rates and more. Instead of blindly casting a wide net to improve lead generation, we identified trends and tailored the email chains to not only reach, but resonate.
Optimizing visuals: We created visuals and compelling imagery to fortify MFZ’s key USPs. Rather than relying on textual messages, we simplified using eye-catching graphics, making the email more impactful.
